The Malaysia PVIP requires investors to place a fixed deposit of RM1,000,000 (USD210,000) in a bank account in Malaysia. A part of the deposit (RM500,000) can be withdrawn after 1 year of holding the residency.

Eligibility Criteria
In order to qualify to apply for a Malaysia PVIP, applicants must have:
- Clean Criminal Record
- Valid Passport (with a minimum validity of six months)
- National Identity documents from Country of Birth or Country of Residence
- Birth Certificates
- Additional Documentation including CVs, Education, and Work History
- Valid Proof of Address
- Proof of Income (RM40,000 or $8,500 or above)
- Principal Applicant must be older than 21 years
Eligible Dependents that you can include in an application are:
- The spouse of the applicant
- Children under 21 years of age
- Parents
- Parents-in-law
- Polygamous Marriages
- Domestic Helper
