Foreign Employment
: The visa permits working for a foreign company or clients.

Spanish Employment: Employment with a Spanish company is permitted under the condition that:
- The primary employment relationship remains with the foreign company.
- Income from the Spanish company does not exceed 20% of the total income.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to qualify to apply for a Spain Digital Nomad Visa, applicants must have: 

  • Clean Criminal Record
  • Valid Passport (with a minimum validity of six months)
  • National Identity documents from Country of Birth or Country of Residence
  • Birth Certificates
  • Valid Proof of Address
  • Source of Funds
  • Tax ID/TIN Number and Tax Declaration

 

Spain allows applicants to include their close family members as dependents on their Residency application. All family members receive their Residencies together and are eligible to apply for Citizenship together after a period of 5 years, and in consideration of all other criteria for Citizenship application set forth by the Government of Spain.

Eligible Dependents that you can include in an application are: 

  • The spouse of the applicant
  • Unmarried children under 21 years of age, and dependent parents of either yourself or your spouse

Preparing your Documents (1 week)

Application for Residency (1-2 weeks)
You will submit your digital nomad visa application. Biometric data is required in order to receive a residence permit card. If the investor and their family members are unavailable on the day of submission, the biometric data collection will take place another day. However, it has to take place in Spain.
Receive your Spain Residence
Card (1-2 weeks)
Once your visa application is approved, you can collect the cards yourself or have a lawyer do so on your behalf. Note, that the investor’s passport is needed for the collection.
Renewal of your Residency
If you wish to renew your residency after three years, our team will support you in the process and ensure that you and your family can continue to be Spanish residents.
